Art Attack After School Club
Miss Driscoll Niles:
I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news from our Term 1 Art Attack Club, where the children have been engaging in some truly inspiring projects recently.
The young artists have been hard at work designing their very own canvas bags, each one beautifully inspired by famous artworks. Using fabric paints, they've not only expressed their creativity but also embraced the notion of creating something functional and meaningful. It's been wonderful to see their interpretations of renowned pieces come to life on these bags, and I can't wait for you to see the final results!
In addition to the canvas bags, we also focused on Remembrance Day by creating clay poppies. The children approached this task with great sensitivity and respect, understanding the significance behind the poppy as a symbol of remembrance, their poppies are displayed in the KS2 office for all to see.
Thank you to all the children who took part this half term!
I look forward to working with the next Art Attack Group in Autumn 2.
